There are three components to the Safety in Advertising Project:
Production • Consulting • Advocacy
Production
The design and production of creative projects such as Animads, Brochures,
Posters and other forms of public service advertising for social marketing in safety. Organizations and sponsors can participate in professional public campaigns.
Stay Afloat - Don't Drink & Boat! © Animads for TV engage the audience with a story and original music appropriate to the target group. When used for radio the sound track can be matched to the format of the radio station. This feature makes station managers and listeners happy, resulting in more airtime during peak hours!

Consulting
Providing information and advice to advertising firms, sponsors, organizations and media to encourage and monitor their depiction of safe practices. These depictions are often incidental to the product or service they are marketing or the news they are reporting, but nonetheless they influence lifestyle choices and attitudes in the public.
Advocacy
When possible and/or necessary, Safety In Advertising will raise a flag when we think a photo, an ad or editorial content has missed the boat and also work to congratulate jobs well done! A Safety In Advertising website can remind advertisers of their responsibility under the Code of Advertising Standards. |
